WD News: Around 300,000 people in Bosnia and Herzegovina will receive improved flood protection through new World Bank financing.

The approved funding of EUR 37 million, granted to Republika Srpska in August 2020, will be utilised for vital infrastructure projects, including dikes, dams, and water reservoirs.

These investments aim to enhance flood protection and bolster environmental management in the country.

The program takes an integrated approach, combining funding for flood protection, environmental management, and port modernisation activities to enhance connectivity along the Sava and Drina Rivers Corridors.
