Yatin Tayalia has been appointed as Xylem India’s new Managing Director. He was earlier Senior Vice-President and Business Leader for South Asia at SUEZ Water Technologies and Solutions. Yatin succeeds Nitin Bhate, who has been appointed as the new Global Director & General Manager, Custom Pump in Xylem.
Yatin’s extensive experience in water management and driving advanced technologies in water and wastewater treatment fit perfectly with Xylem’s need to develop further in this important growth market.
He has over 25 years of experience in Water, Chemicals & Computational Analysis industries across Asia, has co-authored more than 10 patents and published multiple technical and policy journal articles. Over the last 20 years, he has worked with organisations like GE and SUEZ in their plastics and water business. He has an Integrated Bachelors and Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
