Nashik: Newly-elected Sena (UBT) MP of Nashik Rajabhau Waje on Wednesday said replication of successful water conservation formula implemented by him in Sinnar, resolving health issues in rural areas of Nashik and catering to industrial problems are on his priority list. Talking to TOI, Waje said he would soon be holding meetings with the various associations to understand their problems and find ways with the help of senior and experienced MPs of the party and assured that the development in the constituency would not be affected irrespective of the govt at the Centre. “In the past when I was the MLA of Sinnar, I had appealed to the people to contribute towards water conservation works through Jalyukta Shivar. This ensured we changed the picture of Sinnar and dependency of the villages on tankers reduced drastically. I wish to take up the same with the people of the constituency,” said Waje. He added that he had dealt with several issues related to the industries in Sinnar assembly segment.
“I will carry out the same strategies by taking the industrialists, employees and trade unions into confidence to ensure there is peace in the industrial sector. I will also take up the issue of bringing investments in the region,” he said. The MP will soon hold a meeting with trade and industry representatives to understand their needs, demands, issues and find solutions for the same.
Meanwhile, Mahayuti candidate and two-times MP Hemant Godse, who lost the parliamentary election for Nashik seat, said the voters know who all did not work for the Mahayuti candidate in the election. “I don’t want to engage in any blame game. However, BJP, MNS, RPI(A) worked tirelessly for Mahayuti candidate. To some extent the NCP functionaries also contributed strongly. But the Nashikites know it very well who did not work for the candidate,” Godse said. He added that delay in announcement of his candidature and several other names also damaged the image of the candidates.
