W. O. G. Technologies Limited Inaugurates Dedicated R&D Centre for Water, Wastewater and Renewable Energy in Gurugram

WOG Technologies Limited inaugurated its Research, Development & Technology Centre (RD&TC) in Gurugram on National Technology Day. The 7,000 sq ft facility is designed to advance frontier water, wastewater and renewable energy technologies from concept to commercial scale in India.

The centre was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. V. K. Chaurasia, Joint Advisor (PHEE) at the Central Public Health & Environmental Engineering Organisation (CPHEEO), Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India. His remarks addressed India’s transition to cleaner, smarter and more resource-efficient cities.

Distinguished guests included H. E. Mr. Chandradath Singh, High Commissioner of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to India; Dr. Ambika Sharma, Assistant Secretary General, ASSOCHAM; Ms. Anupama Madhok Sud, Director & Editor, Water Digest; and Dr. Neha, Sustainability Consultant & Environmental Strategist.

Led by Mr. Sunil Rajan, CEO, W. O. G. Technologies, the programme brought together policymakers, industry leaders, academics and sustainability experts. The day included a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, ribbon-cutting, unveiling of the corporate and RD&TC films, an expert panel discussion on sustainable water & energy, a vision presentation, live technology demonstrations, and a guided walkthrough of the centre’s five integrated laboratories: a Wet Lab, Bio Lab, Dry Lab, Chromatography Lab and ETP.

The RD&TC is, to the company’s knowledge, a unique dedicated private-sector R&D hub that brings water, wastewater and renewable energy together under one roof in India.
