WD News: The 7th edition of India Water Week is supporting the need for smart, sustainable and efficient solutions to ensure a water-secure country in a true sense.

Located at Greater Noida, the show is hosting thousands of participants (speakers, delegates, exhibitors, and visitors) who are focussing on networking, meeting, discussing, identifying and building inventive technological, political, economic and social solutions for achieving water security.

On day-three of this spectacular show, carefully crafted sessions were organised that involved water leaders, thinkers, technology providers as well as public and young students on one platform.

The conference sessions and seminars included discussions and interactions, which could deeply affect the future of our water and help make a roadmap for India’s water sector. The themes and topics included Water Education, Public Awareness, Role of Media, Emerging Technological Solutions, Decentralised Water Management, Role of Civil Society in Efficient Water Management, and a special session for young professionals.

All the sessions revolved around the central theme of IWW 2022 – Water Security for Sustainable Development with Equity – focusing on equitable and sustainable development and the importance of securing water to achieve that.

Local school children also participated in plays, skits and musical programs on water. There was a large gathering at the event to encourage them.

Understanding the emerging trend for green and sustainable water infrastructure, smart water supply solutions and cutting-edge sewage treatment plants, India Water Expo has an exhibition area with high-tech solutions and technologies on display. Visitors benefitted from the extensive array of water solutions from national and international water companies.
