WD News: Kozhikode Corporation is going ahead with the project to set up Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) at Kothi and Avikkal Thodu, as per its officials.
Because of the protests and pending cases against the project in court, the STP projects can’t be implemented under Amrut-1 and hence the corporation is planning to implement them under Amrut-2, as per the statement of Mayor Beena Philip.
She has said that the projects will be shifted to Amrut-2 based on the directive of the Amrut steering committee after the corporation council’s approval.
