UNICEF WASH Innovation Webinar Series

A new 2026 webinar series from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) will examine how innovations and financing models have the potential to transform access to water and sanitation for some of the world’s most vulnerable children.

The series, organised through the UNICEF Sustainable WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) Innovation Hub, explores how technology and blended finance can catalyse access to clean water through the mapping, exploration and sustainable development of groundwater sources.

In the first three webinars, UNICEF specialists and partners will outline how these advances can inform more sustainable water supply planning, particularly in the driest areas of the world:

  • Mapping the invisible: How innovation is unlocking groundwater data in climate-fragile contexts
  • The future of groundwater mapping: Transient electromagnetics
  • Innovative finance for sustainable groundwater development

UNICEF recommends attending all sessions to understand the full lifecycle of the WASH Innovation Hub’s approach.

The first webinar is on Thursday, 5 February 2026, 10–11 AM CET.
