JICA Signs Grant Agreement With Rwanda, to Provide Aid for Improvement of Water Supply Services in Kigali Region

WD News: The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has signed a grant agreement with the Government of the Republic of Rwanda in Kigali, to provide grant aid of up to 3,005 million Yen for the project of the Improvement of Water Supply Services in the North-Central Area of the City of Kigali.

Under this project, water supply facilities in the north-central Kigali area will be constructed with the aim of optimising the water pressure and reducing leakage occurrences, thereby providing stable water supply.

This project is expected to contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of residents in the north-central Kigali area, as well as to the achievement of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) Goals 3 (Good health and well-being) and 6 (Clean water and sanitation).
