Noida Water Crisis: After Bengaluru, the water crisis has now hit Noida and Greater Noida as several residential societies are hiring water tankers for help. According to a TOI report, the Eldeco Aamantran Society in Noida has started hiring private water tankers for the last five days to meet the daily needs of drinking water.
Apart from this, several other housing societies of 100x sectors have shut down their swimming pools amid water crisis. The development comes as some parts of Noida and Greater Noida have been reporting water shortages since last week. In the meantime, some sectors complained of low water pressure and dirty water supply, taps have run dry in others.
Nikhil Singhal, president of Noida High Rise Federation (NHRF) 100x sectors, told TOI that over 5,000 residents are facing water crisis and they have been forced to get water from private tankers.
