Irrigation & CAD Department, Andhra Pradesh, has invited bids for the design preparation and execution of essential contingent works of the Polavaram Irrigation Project.
The investigation, survey, and works include the formation of a right-side diversion road from Polavaram to the spillway, the creation of left-side connecting roads from Gap-I to the PIPLMC, and the construction of protection works for the AGLB, including safeguarding the Gandiposamma Talli temple. Additionally, the project involves constructing a control room for the spillway, establishing an electrical substation, and undertaking other ancillary works related to the irrigation project.
The Operations and Maintenance (O&M) work will span a period of five years, with a two-year defect liability period. This development aims to enhance infrastructure and improve irrigation management in the region.
The submission deadline is 29 January, 2026.
