Paying more getting less Chennai’s water woes

  • 04 March, 2019 Metro waters’ ‘dial for water’ application, designed to ease out the tanker booking for the residents of Chennai, has begun giving nightmares. The reason being most of the apartment complexes in the city are having a 6000 litre water septage. However, when the booking is done it notifies the user that either he must redo a new booking or opt for a 9000-liters capacity tanker.

According to the source bookings are taken in between 6am to 6pm however, many of the users are not able to confirm their bookings within a minute of the window opening.
