NITI Aayog expresses worries over Delhi's drying reserves

  • 04 March, 2019 The city which already us stabbed by air pollution is facing an even worsened criticism for its degrading and depleting water resources. According to reports published by National Institute of Transforming India, the think tank behind Composite Water Management Index Delhi is starving in terms of water availability.

    If reports are to be believed the city is losing both its surface and underground water. In recent years' Delhi has lost roughly 3 centimeters of water from these reserves every year, according to a new report by NITI Aayog.
